Sanitary
Bates Utility’s expertise in sanitary sewers is paramount using various application such as open cut, pipe bursting, slip lining, tunneling, etc. Through these applications Bates has installed all types of pipe ranging from 1” to 144” with depths of 2’ to 50’ in depth.
Storm
Bates Utility performs installation of storm drainage through a wide variety of solutions. Solutions include open cut piping, outfall and overflow structures, detention vaults, concrete channels, box culvert and bio stabilization just to name a few.
Force Main
Whether a repair is needed, or a new main is required, Bates can perform both by using ductile iron, steel, fiberglass or plastic pressure pipe. If needed, the line can be hot tapped and plugged by using a line stop to bypass the flow around the affected area.
Pump Station
When gravity sewers are not obtainable Bates has the capability to install pump stations. Installation of wet wells, valve vaults, monitoring structures, interior/underground piping, control panels, detention pipe, abandonment, live connections, site work, etc. All work can be completed.
